Sophia (Roberta Battaglia) is a thirteen-year-old classically trained Italian who loves performing, especially in talent shows and the Northern Nightingales.

She considers the choir chosen family and she always tries to keep the peace. She breaks down Grace’s walls by helping her with music theory and becomes her first Canadian friend. With a great sense of humour, she openly embraces teasing and laughs with people as opposed to at them. Sophia has a wonderful alto voice and goes for the good roles but tries to preserve the love, joy, and safety of the choir, even in the face of serious competition.
